In view of the lockdown, the insurance company has announced a 30-day extension for the premium to be deposited in March and April 2020. LIC has given this information by issuing a statement.
On behalf of LIC it has been said that the grace period given for depositing the premium of February was ending on 22 March. This period has ben extended to 15 April.
The insurance company has said that policy holders can also pay their premiums through the insurance company’s digital payment options. For this, they will not have to pay any kind of service charge.
The company has also given the option to pay the premium through the app. The company has said that premiums can also b paid by downloading LIC Pay Direct Mobile App.
